Ogawa Alps
After Togakushi, we headed on through the mountains towards Matsumoto, taking a small side road through Ogawa which required endless careful checking of the choices at every intersection of the small country roads to try to keep heading for Ogawa rather than some wayside village. The main road signs are generally subtitled in English but the small roads don't anticipate foreign tourist traffic, so one may have to recognize the Japanese version of the town name.
